If the question really is, are OFA codes compatible with OFA remotes, the answer is yes. But if the question that you meant to ask is "are these codes that you downloaded with the app, pre-installed in other OFA remotes", the answer is more likely no. But a JP1 user would not need to know if these codes are pre-installed, because you can convert the downloaded codes into RMDU files (which I hope you will do, and load into the file section), and use those files to add the codes to any other OFA remotes that you have.

I have managed to read from the URC 7880.

Uploaded the following files:
TV: Samsung GU43TU6979 - https://hifi-remote.com/forums/app.php/ ... e_id=27309
STB: Vu+ DUO 4K SE - https://hifi-remote.com/forums/app.php/ ... e_id=27311
Media: Dune HD Premier 4K Pro - https://hifi-remote.com/forums/app.php/ ... e_id=27312
Soundbar: Samsung HW-Q995GF - https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/app. ... e_id=27310

Is there any Extender for the URC 7880 so that I could also use the Bluetooth-Dongle?

Just to keep you informed, in the past few days I have made significant progress in understanding the processor of the URC7981. Nowhere near enough to make it work with RMIR but helpful nevertheless. I see that you have moved to a URC7880 but I am working on the URC7981 for my own interest as it is a fascinating challenge. About a Bluetooth extender for the URC7880, yes there is one but for some reason the Extenders section of the File Section seems not to have carried over to this new incarnation of the forum. If Rob can't sort that out, I will post the Bluetooth extenders separately, but it will take a week or so as I am busy with other matters at present.

@mathdon
That sounds promising. Just to note: I would still prefer to use my original URC 7981.

I have seem Extenders in v1 and v2 here in the filebase. It is written that v1 works with BLED-Dongle whereas v2 is described to work with Windows Driver. I wonder if v2 is also still compatible with the BLED-Dongle?

I noticed that some parts of the file section are not displaying properly recently, this is because the new file section code has "left" and "right" columns on the table that need to be populated in just the right sequence. I haven't found a way to automate this, so I've had to do it by hand. What I first re-created the file section, I was heavily focused on the Device Upgrade section, so I got those all done properly. I need to do the same procedure on the rest of the files. But rest assured, the files are there, they're just not displaying properly.

Yes, v2 extends the capabilities of v1. You need to install v1 then use it to install v2, but if you only want to use the BLED dongle then you can just leave it at v1.

I managed to install the Extender in v2; Bluetooth-Connection is working well!
