Hi Rob, more remotes please :D .

I would like to order some remotes and cables:

3 x URC-6131 - $25 (mod)
1 x URC-8910 - $20
2 x "Simple" parallel - $15 (I changed USB to parallel cable)

Will these still fit in one box for $9.50 shipping to sweden(europe).
Will pay with Credit Card.

How much total?

I can squeeze all of those into one box, if I leave out the printed manuals. Is that OK?

3 * URC-6131 @ $25 = $75
1 * URC-8910 @ $20 = $20
2 * Simple Cable @ $15 = $30
shipping = $9.50
CC surcharge = $5.50
-----------------------------------
grand total = $140 US

The 9910s are supposed to arrive at my supplier sometime next week. Last time they ended up arriving at the supplier a week late. Once the supplier has them, I should get them 2 days later.

I am taking advance orders for this next batch.

Just FYI, the last batch actually sold out before it even arrived.

What size EEPROM do the URC-6011s have?

OFA sells 6011's with no EEPROM.

A 6011 will work with the simplest full JP1 support with a 2K byte eeprom.

A 6011 will work with simple, but slightly limited JP1 support with a 1K byte eeprom.

A 6011 will work with full JP1 support and extra capacity, but various complications in initial setup, with a 4K byte or larger EEPROM.

I'm pretty sure that when Rob modifies an eepromless remote for JP1 he uses a 2K byte eeprom except in special situations involving a very clear indication that the eeprom is other than 2K.

I only use 2k EEPROMs.

No, the URC-9910 completely fill the box, so I'd need to step up to the $8 box to ship this.

Thanks Rob! My 9910 came to me quickly (within 3 days) and works like a charm. I downloaded the config from my 8910 and uploaded it to my 9910 and I can now use the remote without having to contort myself to aim behind me at the reciever and av equipment. No more donut! Wow I like it even more than I thought I would! I actually found myself making excuses to watch tv just to play with it some more.

Another benefit I did not realize, for the less frequently used buttons, where I need to look at the remote, I can simply look and press rather than line up my finger, point, and press. Great for changing channels with the numpad, changing radio stations, etc...
