BR, your upgrade is missing about 8 functions from the original remote. I've got the same GPX dvd player and used your upgrade and it worked well.
Since I have an 8810 (an aging one at that) I created an upgrade that has all the functions from the GPX remote.

What is weird is that the original remote has an unlabeled button. It does something but I don't know what. I've also put that into my upgrade.
