Thanks Rob. Amazingly your upgrade loaded into the Slingbox with no problems. The difference between your upgrade and mine in RM is that you have device type is set to Cable whereas I was trying SAT. At any rate, this upgrade doesn't work with the VS-502. I'll email Sima again and see if they can provide more information. I've also ordered a remote and cable in the meantime.
