The delivery time to Europe is usually about 4 days and postage is $9.50 US. Actually, I'm sending some remotes to Sweden tomorrow, so I'll let you know how long it really takes when they arrive.

Try these upgrades. They use every known Sony device code for audio devices. The volume buttons and POWER buttons are programmed. The input selects are programmed to the numeric buttons.

Upgrade Code 0 = 07 D0 (SAT/2030) dev16 (KM v8.36)
CA 00 D1 08 08 00 64 B8 78 F8 04 84 44 C4 24 A4
48 C8 28 A8
End
Upgrade Code 0 = 07 D1 (SAT/2031) dev48 (KM v8.36)
CA 00 D1 0C 0C C0 64 B8 78 F8 04 84 44 C4 24 A4
48 C8 28 A8
End
Upgrade Code 0 = 07 D2 (SAT/2032) dev121 (KM v8.36)
CA 00 D1 9E 9E C0 64 B8 78 F8 04 84 44 C4 24 A4
48 C8 28 A8
End
Upgrade Code 0 = 07 D3 (SAT/2033) dev19 (KM v8.36)
CA 00 D1 C8 C8 00 64 B8 78 F8 04 84 44 C4 24 A4
48 C8 28 A8
End
Upgrade Code 0 = 07 D4 (SAT/2034) dev25.11 (KM v8.36)
DE 00 D1 98 D0 00 64 B8 78 F8 04 84 44 C4 24 A4
48 C8 28 A8
End
Upgrade Code 0 = 07 D5 (Cable/2035) dev0 (KM v8.36)
CA 00 D1 00 00 00 64 B8 78 F8 04 84 44 C4 24 A4
48 C8 28 A8
End

Thank you. Will do first thing tomorrow. One thing though, do I have to worry about conflicting setup codes already stored on the remote?

Do you already have upgrades programmed that use the code numbers that I used? If you do, then yes, you should change the setup code numbers of the upgrades that I posted.

Actually, just to eliminate some steps where user error could creep in, could you post a copy of your IR file please. Then I can load these upgrades in myself and assign them to device buttons.

You can go ahead and use the ir file I posted in the diagnosis section.

I have created 2 IR files, one with the first 3 upgrades assigned to the Dream, TV and AUX buttons, and another with the next 3 upgrades assigned. Give them a whirl.

I'm not an expert LIRC decoder, but if these learns can be believed, this is normal Sony 12-bit and the OBCs seem to be the standard ones Sony always uses, however, the data would tend to indicate the Device # is 0, which is not normal.

That's how I read it too, but the OBCs are normal. So, in addition to creating mini-upgrades that use all of the normal device codes, I also created one that has a device code of zero.

Happy days are here! dev16 (KM v8.36) worked. All I could ever want at this point is a discrete code for the mute function and maybe even power.

My understanding of LIRC isn't perfect. But Sony12 has 12 bits and no lead-out. The LIRC data says 11 bits with a lead-out that matches the '1' bit.

I read that as device 16, not device 0.

So I'd expect the best place for more info would be the list of commands for Sony12, device 16 at:

Hi
I'm from(in) Sweden too, Rob sent me some remotes May 8 and I got them today, and I am a happy customer.

And that's actually alot slower than normal. I'm guessing that the customs folks took a peek at Joni's remotes before letting them go through! :)

I live in a remote location where mail delivery is always painfully slow. Even with domestic packages I can almost certainly figure it's gonna be a week.
