You can do just the key you want.

First create the device upgrade in RM with just the one function. Assign it to a key that is not in the key map for the device type (on the Layout tab the key should not be outlined). This will ensure that a keymove is generated.

Copy the Device Upgrade and Protocol Upgrade into IR, making sure IR isuccessfully imports the keymove. This means assign the setup code to a device key if you get prompted to do so.

Now you can:
  • Go to the keymoves page and change the bound device and key if desired.
  • Undo the assignment of the setup code to a device key.
