Just FYI, using TV/0053 (or TV/0069), OBC 106 translates to EFC 071.

Thank's for the credit alex(750) but Capn Trips came up with the code after I discovered the method. Sorry it didn't help but only a few sets of that age had the service menus. Sony required you to press a recessed button while you powered the TV on for theirs.
