Do you have a keymove or learned signal programmed to the POWER button in Dreambox mode? You should post your IR file in the Diagnosis Area (and post a link) for one of us to look at, then I bet we'll spot the problem instantly.

I can't see anything obviously wrong in that file, though I'm not familiar with the Dreambox remote so I don't know if it has any peculiarities.
You say you found another IR file that works the Dreambox correctly, why don't you try cloning that file and adding the Sony upgrade to it and see if that works. If it doesn't, please post a "before" and "after" image of the other file so we can see what changed.
