JP1 Remotes

For Bluetooth/streamer compatible remotes, maybe the URC7966 would fit the bill:

I have been considering getting it myself. I would like to be able to keep using the excellent RMIR software to configure it, but not too sure if it supports this one. It uses the My Nevo app, which looks terrible.

I have ordered 4 cables, the guitar paint, the button stickies. Hopefully this will calm my JP1-Anxiety-Disorder.

I have 6 2x3 connectors somewhere, I couldn't figure out how to find them to buy them.

I'm sorry Rob, I missed your earlier post with the link. I didn't have the language to google the part. I really don't like the hardware aspect of JP1ing but poking pins and heating shrink wrap with a hair dryer isn't as frightening as soldering was.

I find I get about 125 uploads out of FTDI cables before they fail, so as long as I don't lose them, I should be good to go.

If you have a BBQ lighter, you can use that on shrink-wrap too.
