Can only view one topic from search

Post by woh »

When I do a search, the search works fine and displays a list of threads I can view. But I can only view one thread. If I try to go back to the search list it is gone.
Is there a way around this?

When I'm looking at a bunch of threads from a search, I RIGHT click on the link and open it in a "new tab" or "new window" depending on which browser I'm using.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

What browser are you using and what are your security settings? Maybe if you have cookies or history blocked it doesn't work.

I just tried it here (using Firefox) and I can go back just fine.

I've got Internet Explorer 8 and have pop-ups blocked.
I'll just open in another window and preserve the window with the list.
Thanks

I have 3 computers with IE 8, and all of them ask me to refresh the page when I try to go back to search results. Vicky's approach works fine though, and I find it to be more convenient now that I'm used to it.

I always open in new tabs too, but if something's not working, I would like to fix it. However, in this case it sounds like it's just a difference between IE and Firefox. I'll give it a try with IE myself tomorrow.
