RemoteMaster v0.86a now available!

Post by gfb107 »

I've built and released RemoteMaster v0.86a

Changes for v0.86a

- Include correct version of RemoteMaster.jar
- Add setup.bat file
- Updates to Readme.html and associated style sheets.

Changes for v0.86

- Enable importing KM upgrades from the clipboard,
similar to KM's Import feature.
- Enable importing RM upgrades from the clipboard
- Added Readme.html the guide to "Using Remote Master",
with associated style sheets. Still needs a lot of work.

RemoteMaster.v0.86a.zip
Release Notes and Change Log (also included in the ZIP file)
Installation Instructions (also in the Readme.txt included in the ZIP file)
The RemoteMaster project home page.

As you can see above, I've added the Readme.html file, which is supposed to become the Remote Master User's Guide.

It is only about 25% complete.

I used keymap-master-readme.txt as the starting point for this document, and you can see the raw text from it after the section that described the Functions panel.

I need help getting it finished. I welcome any and all to participate.

A lot of what is needed is simply tweaking the original keymap-master text and putting some html tags around it.

I like the readme!

I like the readme.html that you have started.

The style sheet for IE has a line "overflow-y: hidden;" this causes the vertical scroll bar to be omitted.

Because the text is a continuous stream, even though you can use the navigation labels on the left, it seems logical to leave the scroll bar visible.

Changing "hidden" to "auto" restores the scroll bar.

Thanks for the tip. I'll include it in the next release.

I just d/l'd RM, but the file appears to contain v0.85 of RemoteMaster.jar (dated 1/28/2004). The zip includes Readme.html (dated 2/3/2004), so I don't think it's a SourceForge problem with the mirrors not getting updated.

Oops!

I've made RemoteMaster.v0.86a.zip available, and I've updated the links in the announcement to point to it.
