Definately a cultural difference here. I looked it up and its a ball used in a game called squash, and then found its a game similar to racquet ball, but the ball is smaller and "squashable" and the rackets and courts are different size. I've driven past racketball clubs, but I don't even know if squash is played over here. Laughing

My folks used to play squash all the time.

Wow, didn't realise that it was so rare in Michigan compared to the UK. Haven't personally played it for years but the balls are readily available here. Equivalent of about $10 for three.

It's not rare specifically in Michigan, it's an unknown sport here in the US.

It's been quite a while since I lived in Connecticut, but squash was popular in New Haven and New York then.
