looking for a replacement for 15-2116
I'm looking for a replacement for my 15-2116. I have looked hard and far for either the 2116 or the 2117 on ebay and craigslist, no luck. My current 15-2116 has been programmed to the MAX (very little memory left and all 8 devices are used) using the JP1 interface.
Can someone suggest a replacement that's still currently available? Thanks.

JP1 EEPROM remotes have been out of production for 5+ years, so its kind of hard to find something that will work with the JP1 interface. If you are looking for a remote that will work with your current interface, there are urc-8900s with the dreaded donut ring available on Ebay.
If your 2116 is already maxed out, (assuming that you've used an extender), I'd recommend moving into a Flash remote if you can afford a new interface. Most Flash remotes have a large amount of memory. The current remotes include the 10820N, 8820N and RCA-RCRp05b. The 10820N has 10 device buttons, the 8820N has 8 devices and the RCA has 5 device buttons with 3 phantom devices.
Edit: Or get a replacement from Rob.

Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.
Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

I need to make a tally of how many I have of each unit, then I need to figure out how much shipping will be.
