Since last year in Europe are available 2 new JP1 remotes URC-3450 and URC-3451.
They are different only in color, URC-3450 is black and URC-3451 is white.

The following parts need to be added to really make them JP1:
EEPROM 24C16, marked U2 on PCB
capacitor 0,1 uF, marked C11 on PCB
JP1 header
Standard 6-pin header is too long, it gets in the way of battery cover.
It needs to be shortened by 1 or 2 mm, on the solder side, after it has been soldered.

The problem is that it is very difficult to open them.
The remote is holding together with the help of 20 pins, 8 on the left and right side and 2 on the bottom and top side.
Even though I have experience with opening of UEI remotes (so far I have opened a lot of different models without any problems or damages),
the first attempt with URC-3450 went rather badly.

The second attempt with URC-3451 went much better.

Strange construction of the casing is not the only weird thing about these 2 remotes.
They are not on the official OFA page.
Signature OFA0OFA0 seems to me a little to "significant" for such modest and pathetic remote.
We are talking about JP1 EEPROM remote which (to the best of my knowledge) is available since mid of 2009.
On the PBC it says:
OFA Ecoline 2008 4 Device
URC-11-345X R00
Feb 15 2008 REV 1.7

supported 9xx commands:
970
971
980
981
982
990
991
992
993
994

RDF is pretty complete, but it would be nice of one of the experts could check DigitMaps and Protocols (variants??) sections.

I needed a special protocol Device Multiplexor, perhaps some day someone else might need it so here it is:

Upgrade code 0 = 1C 4D (TV/1101)
FE 00 01
End

Upgrade protocol 0 = 01 FE (S3C8+)
00 00 02 08 5C 02 00 06 C0 4E F5 03 C0 83 C0 04
AF
End

Thanks for the info Damir. I just did a quick search and found the user manual in case anyone wants to see it.
