Actually, that is good because it means it's working, I can adjust the repeats.
I've updated the files to have a shorter repeat.

Good to hear, did you test both files (ie, PL and RV) ?

Looks like this remote is not working with PRO-HD SB300-110 (UK/PAL version)
Code: Select all
Product signature: 8
Hardware version: 2.53.0
IR Blaster version: 5
Firmware version: 2.1.90ADB 5720SX remote bin file for Slingbox 350
Hi,
Does anyone have a working bin file for the ADB 5720SX satellite decoder (it's branded Canal Digital HD PVR 5720SX). I have tried all the ones on this site, but it seems only the power button is working, at least I'm not able to swap channels. I need it for a Slingbox 350.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Charles

I doubt you will get a better one than the one posted as a result of this thread. And it looks as though 385 people have downloaded it and are using it successfully.

What exactly works/doesn't work on that one ?

Hi Alan,
No, this file (S2012_PL.bin) does not work at all, not even the power button works, so not exactly sure what's going on here. At the moment I'm using a Canal Digital remote (HD PVR 101-ST), which allows me to turn the decoder on/off.
When I tried the S2012_PL.bin (with the decoder on), I saw that the stream/connection was briefly halted every time I pressed a button, but unfortunately nothing happened.
Model: Slingbox 350
Firmware Version: 1.1.52
Hardware Version: 1.1.0
Any other suggestions I could try?
Cheers,
Charles

Now I look that is a Polish version. What happened when you tried the proper ADB 5720 CDX Custom Remote at http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=10781

Not all, big step forward. As the Power button works we know that your box still uses the NEC1 IR Protocol with a Device code of 134.14 of the normal ADB 5720 box. And the power button uses Code 18.
What isn't making much sense is that none of the other buttons work. The codes for this box are very straightforward (0=0, 1=1, 2=2... Up Arrow=11, Down Arrow=12....) so it is very odd that nothing else works.
Have you tried plugging in the External Blaster on the 350 ? Maybe the built-in IR is not very strong ?

Charles, does the power button turn the unit on AND off, or only on?
Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.
Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

Alan, no I haven't tried the external blaster yet. Unfortunately, there's nobody at the site where the slingbox is located, so until I go there I won't be able to test this. But if this is the case and the built-in IR transmitter is too weak, does it then make sense that the power button is working? In the past I had a Sagem decoder in the exact same position (they are placed next to each other), and I never experienced any issues with the remote control.
Vicky, the power button works for turning the unit both on and off, so no issues there.
It is very strange indeed.
Cheers,
Charles
