I don't recall having this problem before, though I haven't programmed my remote for a while.
Everytime I open keymap-master I get the error in the excel: "This workbook has lost its VBA project, ActiveX controls and any other programmability-related features." with the following log file.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
- <recoveryLog xmlns="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/spreadsheetml/2006/main">
<logFileName>error015120_02.xml</logFileName>
<summary>Errors were detected in file 'F:\Remote\keymap-master-v9.18.xls'</summary>
- <additionalInfo>
<info>This workbook has lost its VBA project, ActiveX controls and any other programmability-related features.</info>
</additionalInfo>
</recoveryLog>
What's going on? I am using Excel 2007 and can not find any info on how macro should be enabled. So I enabled it all macros and added check mark next to trust access to VBA project object model. |

might be of help
What version of KM are you using? VBA functions have been replaced for excel 2007 by Mike, but there are still VBA procedures in there that need to be enabled. _________________ Liz

thank you. I will look into this more. I created an updare for DV5 Pavilion notebook remote control but wasn't able to save it to share with the community.
I've used latest KM (as of today) 9.18 and the older version I believe 9.10. Both gave me the same error. |

I figured it out. I had go to Add/Remove programs and highlight Office 2007 and select change then add or remove feautures and enable Visual Basic for Applications to run from my computer. There are some screenshots for the process here:
