KM v9.18 "Using extender" field grayed out for URC
I am trying to make an extender using KM v9.18 for my URC-9910 with extender 891EX1_1 and the "Using extender" field is grayed out. The KM signature does not match my remote signature (CPTOCPTO vs CPTOCPTx1) and the extender does not work. Is there a different remote type I should be using for this? It has been a long time since I have done this so please excuse the question if I have overlooked something simple.

There are a couple of remotes where the upgrade for an extender are different than the upgrade for an unextended remote because of the way keymoves are generated. These are the exception rather than the rule. Most of the time it makes no difference if you are using an extender or not when creating an upgrade.
You're urc8910 doesn't care if the upgrade was created for the unextended remote.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.
