I presume nothing else has changed? |
You presume correctly, sir! Which is why my post about the change says: "None of the previous files have changed."
(I said "discarding your previous sources" because he'd hand-edited a file and I didn't want that one causing problems.)

Oops! When I went to the download page, the size of my browser window exactly fitted the page as far as the Download button. I didn't look any further down, and so didn't see the messages. I just noticed that nothing seemed to have changed in the File Description. Sorry!

No harm, no foul, good sir! I just couldn't resist a little friendly ribbing!
I'm sure that if I haven't already, I'll be making that same mistake soon enough!
(And I probably should have mentioned the lack of changes in previous files in this thread and not just the file download comment section, just to be crystal clear.)

And thanks for the upload. Even though I should be able to build my own once my Slackware 13.0 DVD arrives, I'll be sure to give your version a try first. |
Note: I already posted this in another thread but realized that this is the thread where it all started, so to "close the loop", here's what I had found:
WagonMaster wrote: | 'wnewell' -- I'm happy to report that I've successfully tested your self-compiled 64-bit 'libjp12serial.so' library under my new Slackware 13.0 64-bit installation.
I successfully downloaded from my RS 15-135 and my RCA RCRP05B remotes using RMIR. The 'Help' -> 'About' page confirms that the 'jp12serial.so' library is the new version ('0.14') and the "os.arch" field shows "amd64", of course. |
