Post by hummer »

follow these steps :

1- Download the .bin files https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=7236

2- Extract the zip file and place the 4 .bin files in the slingbox SBAV folder . usually it’s C:\Program Files\Sling Media\SlingPlayer\SBAV

3- Download the SBAV.cfg file from https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=7237 and place it in the same directory
C:\Program Files\Sling Media\SlingPlayer\SBAV .

That’s it !!

4 -Now launch slingplayer => edit => slingbox configuration =>audio/video setup change => next => choose your country => select the input you would like to configure =>next => satellite or free to air receiver => other => on alternative code type : V1009

On the sling remote

Pg up = red
Pg dwn = white
Ch up = green
Ch down = yellow
I (info) = menu
Last = favorites
Arrow = filelist

The rest of the commands are the same between slingbox remote and the topfield remote .

If u need me to change some of the buttons to so it can match ur needs just pm me .

i'll update the thread for the topfield 5800 and 6000 remote codes . but since i don't own these 2 receivers i need some help .

In fact you only need the PL & RV BIN files these days. And might be worth adding the location on a MAC is /Applications/SlingPlayer/Contents/Slingbox Setup Assistant/Contents/Resources/SBAV/

I don't think is necessary any more since the release of Slingplayer 2.0.
