In case you haven't heard, xsight is now widely available in the US at Fry's (west) and hh gregg (south and mid-west). HERE's the manual. The xsight touch has a touch-screen and RF. Native DirecTV RF capability has been confirmed by other users and is detailed in the manual. The xsight color lacks a touch-screen and RF and is $80 cheaper.

Most JP1ers probably aren't in the market for a $250 remote (that'll buy you at least 30 atlas ocap's), but it will be interesting to see how hackable this new generation of UEI remotes is.

Additionally, the xSight touch can control 18 devices while the xSight Color can "only" handle 15. Hence the model numbers ARRX18G and ARRX15G

Got an Xsight Color (15G) NiB from ebay for $80. Looks a lot better than 8 ocaps.
