My TV displays a menu when the input key is pressed. You can keep pressing input to cycle through the inputs or press a number key to go directly to the desired input.
I created some short macros to directly change to the input of choice and set the device mode to the correct device for that input. I first assigned these to the L1-L4 keys and they worked fine. I decided I wanted to move them to the macro keys M1-M4 but when I did the last key in the macro to change the device seems to be ignored. The remote is always in TV mode after the macros execute after I moved them to the M1-M4 keys. Any idea why?
Thanks,
BGC

post a copy of your original IR file (with the L keys that worked) and your new IR file (with the M keys that doesn't).

If you are using a cable and IR, please upload your working IR file and the malfunctioning one to the diagnosis area and provide a link to the file(s) here.

After further review, I discovered that the last command of each of the macros was missing after I edited them. I put them back and the macros work on the macro keys now.
This is all I did:
I had keymoves set to the macro keys so I changed them to the PIP row of keys in case having the keymoves on M1-M4 keys while I changed the macros from L1-L4 to M1-M4 would have caused a conflict.
When I changed the macros, I highlighted a macro, hit the edit key, changed the bound key and hit OK. I didn't do any editing of the content of the macros. I have no idea how the last command of each of them disappeared.
Sorry for the trouble,
BGC
