Yesterday I tried to use the original 1994 extender with the latest IR (downloaded yesterday), but could not get it to work. The RDF package does not appear to have an RDF for the original extender (or does it??). Also, the RDF included in the extender package is too old to work with newer versions of IR.
Is this extender obsolete? I would love to use it, since it has all the features that I want without all the excess of the later extenders.
Any insight? |

This extender is actually obsolete and so is the RDF. You may be in luck however since awhile back I think I had done enough updates to the one in the extender package that it could work for you. Edit the RDF from the extender ZIP file and change the line in the General section fom RDFSync=2 to RDFSync=3 and IR should be OK with it. I can't promise that everything will work 100% but worth a shot. If this does not work e-mail me the one you have and I will see what I can do with it.
Just remember that no future enhancements will be applied to this RDF so I recommend you migrate to a later version extender. _________________ Nils

Thanks!
If that doesn't work, I'll get by somehow, either by using an older version of IR or by using one of the newer supported extenders. |
