Rob, I bought a couple of 8811s (green BL) from you a few years back and am worried about replacements when they eventually wear out. I'm looking to buy two spares from you and I'd like to get your opinion on which remotes would work for me.
1. I'd prefer to have JP1 six pin connector all ready to plug my cable into. I can solder header pins if necessary but would rather not cut traces, etc.
2. I like the backlit keys and would prefer a remote with these.
3. I'd prefer six devices instead of eight.
4. Must have both arrows and transport keys.
5. I'd prefer to have the transport keys toward the top of the remote, instead of close to the bottom like the 8811 has.
It looks like the 6131 would fit the bill, but I don't know if it is backlit and I don't know if you have any more. If you don't, it also looks like the 6131N would be fine too. Do you have any of those?

The 6131 is not backlit. I still have a couple of 8811s, so why not get them?

I'm going to try a 6131N for the next few weeks and see if I really need backlighting, because I'd really like to get away from the 8811 if at all possible (because of the awkwardness of the transport key location). If not, I'll get an 8811 from you. ThanksThe Robman wrote:The 6131 is not backlit. I still have a couple of 8811s, so why not get them?

Looking for JP1 remotes for Media Center
Robman,
I have a couple of 8910s that have served me well over the past 5 years. They are starting to get a little beat up. What are the odds that you have some? I am looking for 3 total, and I would like to stay with the same model across the board. If the 8910 is no longer available, what would you recommend?
Thanks,
Eric

Ok, I bought one of these remotes about 5 years or longer ago from eBay and they said it was one number but when it came the remote had URC-9811B00 as a model number on it. So to the question... do you have any of these remotes for sale? it had red back lighting.

Pretty much, but I still have some URC-8820 remotes left, which is what I had in mind for you.
