Just wanted to make it clear that remotes made by "Universal Remote" such as this one are not JP1 compatible (or JP1.2/3 for that matter). "Universal Remote" is not the same company as "Universal Electronics, Inc". Only remotes made by UEI are JP1/JP1.2/JP1.3 compatible.

I wondered about that, because this review:

http://www.remotecentral.com/ureview/87.htm

says that the remote has the 6-pin connector in the battery compartment,
but jp-1 is marked with ?.

Thanks for the notice - I will be staying from this remote.
Thank you.

Thanks for the heads up, I ordered two. Its my remote of choice.

And no it isn't a jp1-able remote. But with unlimited learning memory, a great shift function, great RF performance. You can load macros on the device keys, put a pause if you wish making them push & hold macro. great remote.

It looks like they've sold out of it, as I can't see it on their site anymore.

Here's a link to all of their "Universal" product:

Here's a link to all their "One For All" product:

And ordering two dropped the price to $37.95 each. But shipping is $13.99 Sad

You can try entering RF+PACK into the search box on the MCM website, see what shows up?

The link worked when I tried it just now, they must keep adding it and then taking it away.

If you happen to need enough from MCM to get your order total over $125, use source code EMC093 to get 5% off. If you spend $200 Surprised shipping is free. I'm on their mailing list and got this in my inbox last week. And no, I do not get anything from MCM. Just passing the info along to anyone who might find it useful.

Promotion ends April 2, 2009 at Midnight.
*Source code must be entered in shopping cart to receive discount. Discount applies to products and prices at the time of your order. Offer may be used for in-stock items only. Discount cannot be combined with any other coupons or discounts. Offer excludes computer hard drives and memory. This offer can be used more than once.

**Free Shipping: Offer applies for in-stock orders placed for direct shipment in the continental U.S. Items will ship via MCM's preferred carrier. For online orders, the shipping charges will be displayed in your shopping cart, and will be removed at the time of invoicing. Orders exceeding 50 lbs. will have chart rate applied.

I took advantage of the EMC093 code and purchased 3 more RF10 systems.

But I also put ads on amazon for the RFS100 system, which none have sold. Also the mrf100 basestations by themselves, I have sold 3 mrf100's for $30 a piece, leaving the final cost of the Rf10 remotes themselves $10. Smile
