|
|
I have upgraded a 6131nw remote and I am now converting over all my devices from an 8910 to the 6131.
They are all working fine apart from one for a Daewoo VCR.
The protocol works fine in the 8910 with the VCR responding to key presses instantly.
However when I upload the file to the 6131 the keys work but I have to press each key multiple times before the VCR responds.
Just to note the inbuilt code for VCR 0278 is also very slow to respond
The upgrade for the 8910 and the 6131 are below. Is this a bug with the 6131 remote has anybody any suggestions.
Upgrade for 8910
Upgrade Code 0 = 12 82 (VCR/0642) Daewoo VCR 0642 (KM v9.16)

KeyMoves
30 F3 12 82 37«Slow»¦2F F3 12 82 87«>>30»
End
Upgrade for 6131
Upgrade Code 0 = 22 82 (VCR/0642) Daewoo VCR 0642 (KM v9.16)

As far as I can tell, this executor didn't change between the URC-8910 and URC-6131 remotes, but none the less, here's a protocol upgrade that you can try adding to the URC-6131 to see if it makes a difference (but I don't expect it will).
Upgrade protocol 0 = 00 5C (S3C8+) PB v4.01
43 8C 11 8B 12 C5 45 08 08 01 09 00 F5 01 09 03
07 7B 8E 10 7C 08 2A E6 25 09 8D 01 61

Does it work if you just press and hold the button? _________________ Rob

Sort of it appears to toggle if I hold down a button. i.e. if i was on channel 1 and then press and hold 2 the vcr display flashes between 1 and 2. I can only get the orginal remote or my 8910 to to this if i toggle button 2 |

Have you tried VCR/0278 to see if it acts the same? _________________ Rob

Now this is strange I have managed to get it working with a different protocol. It is working perfectly with the Audiovox protocol and the same fixed data of 57.
I managed to find this as I also have a 7562 remote that I have a wav file for daewoo vcr's I noticed that the working one on the 7562 was using Audoivox.
I have uploaded both protocols to the 8910 and both work perfectly. Only the Audiovox works on the 6131. I guess there is only a small difference between the protocols. Why both work on the 8910??? |
