URC 9910 Failure

Post by km »

My URC 9910 suddenly has flaked out. The device codes are wrong and some buttons don't even send ir signals. This happened shortly after a battery change, not sure if it was immediate.

I thought I could recover by re-downloading the image I use. However, when I press the download button on the 9910 I get "error" on the lcd immediately. (I do updates via wav file).

Is there any way to recover from this? Maybe a hidden factory reset?

I don't have a JP1 cable.

Many thanks! The reset did work, and then the download worked, and all is good.
