You have all of the tools to do it yourself:
Original remote + Learning JP1 remote + cable.
Depending on your level of JP1-ing experience, it should take you between 30 minutes and a couple hours to learn, decode, and build your own upgrade for uploading back into the remote.

I did it my self as was suggested. Who would imagine it would be so easy. By easy I mean 3hrs but now I know and will be much quicker next time.

Could you load your upgrade file into the file section please.
There are several tricks that speed up the process. For starters, if you go to the File > Summary sheet in IR.exe there's a section that lists the relevant codes for all the learned buttons. It's pretty easy to cut & paste this into a spreadsheet and then cut and paste the relevant columns over to KM.
It shouldn't take you more than 30 mins from start to finish to create an upgrade by learning all the buttons.
