RCA TV/VCR combo

I just got a slingbox solo and would like to control my RCA T25208 TV/VCR combo using the IR device. I found a CCF file for a similar TV, entered the values into RM and exported to a bin file. When I entered the alternative code for the bin file, I got an error saying that slingplayer cannot load the IR code you selected. I know this isn't much to go on, but I don't know what to try next and would appreciate any advice.

1. Did you put the bin file that you created in the appropiate Slingbox folder?
2. Did you select the correct version of the Slingbox in RM when you created the bin file?
3. How did you determine which version of the Slingbox you have?

I put the bin file in the SBAV folder inside the SlingPlayer folder. I made bin files for both the PL and JU versions of Slingbox because I wasn't sure which version I have.
