That seems like a NEC1 format. Try it with device number 191. Convert the fourth and the third digits from the right from hex to decimal to get the OBC for each of the functions. For example, for "1", it would be 5F which is 95 in decimal.

BTW, there is really no need to post the same question in three different places in this forum.

Note to other experts, always check this part of an lirc file. It is more often backwards as it is this time.

When it is correct, the lirc hex data is LSB. But when it is backwards as in this example the lirc hex data is LSB comp.
pre_data 0xBF40
Using LSB comp it is device 2.

It is.
Try it with device number 191.
Device 191 is an MSB translation of the BF. But lirc nec1 almost always uses LSB or LSB comp.

Try it with device 2.
Convert the fourth and the third digits from them right from hex to decimal to get the OBC for each of the functions. For example, for "1", it would be 5F which is 95 in decimal.
That would be correct again if this lirc file used MSB. But it uses LSB comp. So you could use one of a few JP1 tools to do LSB comp translation of that digit pair (instead of ordinary hex to decimal) to get each OBC.

But, by good luck, the JP1 executor for NEC1 also uses LSB comp. That means on the function sheet of RemoteMaster you can fill in the hex column (instead of OBC and EFC) using the digit pair selected as Kupakai described and RM will compute the OBC and EFC.

Hi guys,
sorry to post to 3 forums, jsut didnt have any idea that where I should get this posted. Kind of frustrated and trying so hard to get it work.
Apologize for that

Here are some more questions below:
When using 1.86 RM, we can open RM, but not the RDF file, when we tried to open the RM, we were unable to open the RDF file. Please help! I have also downloaded the slingbox RDF file from the download section, but still not able to open to manually type HEX or OBC within the function.
PLease help and sorry to post at multiple forums

Be sure to post your upgrade file, then post a link to it here.

Also, please state what device this is for.

Thanks

We use device NEC1 device 2 and fill in the hex column using the digit pair 4&3 . Finally , it does work with SlingBox Solo.
We did upload the Bin code in File Section.
Sorry, unable fine the brand name in English only get the device name which we bought in Taiwan 5 years ago.

Here is Kenny's file:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=5618

I replaced the rar file with a zip file so everyone can open it.

What I was actually looking for is an upgrade file, so I created one myself here:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=5620

Here are some links to the device (if you can read Taiwan writing):
http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?11080501751998
http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?11080316727793

Kenny, it looks like there are more buttons on the remote than are included in the upgrade, do the other buttons do anything? If so, even if they're not important, I'd like to include them in the upgrade, just so it is complete.

Therefore, could you learn the other buttons and post the WINLIRC code please.
