General Help - Slingbox AV (US) IR codes

Hope someone can help me - I am trying to control a Tevion STB7016
Digital Freeview Receiver (a UK model) from a Slingbox AV (US model).

I have found a few codes from various sources e.g. the oneforall site but don't know how to enter them into the slingbox config; the slingbox seems to want a letter followed by 4 digits in the "Alternative code" box. The OFA codes I found are just digits.

If I could at least understand how to enter the alternative code sytax I could try all these... but I just don't know how to start.

I simply want to control the up & down channel function - nothing else!

SO... I know a bit more than yesterday...

I now have RM working and have downloaded all the likely suspect KM files I could find, these being:

4 types of Tevion DVD/VCR/MD
2 types of Bush Digital STBs
Goodmans STB
Matsui STB

I exported the .bin files, loaded them one at a time into slingbox config, but still absolutely no control over the other end...

I am now completely stuck - any ideas very gratefully received. I ONLY want to change channels!
