Adding A Macro

Post by japapoe »

I have a Comcast 1067-A and a Samsung 5054. I would like to know if I could somehow program a series of key presses on my tv remote to work as a single button press on my comcast remote. i.e. I want to assign the PIP Move key to do (menu, down, down, right, down down down down down down down down right down down right) from the tv remote.

Macros can be programed on the remote. That particular macro might be too many steps for a single key but worst case you can use 2 macros with one calling the second to achieve the entire sequence.

I don't think the un-extended 1067A can call a macro from a macro. The other JP1.2 remotes couldn't do it, but I'm not sure.

I also think it is too long for one macro. Does the menu "wrap around" so that you could use a smaller number of "up" commands instead of the eight "down" commands?
