I feel like an idiot for asking this, but We're getting a new TV this week (finally going HD) and so I got a new cable box too. This means that I'm delving back into programming my remote for the first time in a LONG time.
I decided to check out the new "Remotemaster" but when selecting the remote type, I have no idea which one of the many 6131's listed is the one I have. Is there a way to tell?
How can I tell which 6131 I have?

For RM purposes these are all the same, however when you go into IR you NEED to know the difference.
Where did you get your upgrade? If you bought from rob, you have a 2k upgrade. If you sent your remote in to UEI for an upgrade, you have a 1k upgrade.
You can rule out 'extended' if you didn't get into advanced JP1 features. When you "extend" a remote, you have installed a little program that takes control of your remote, and adds features like nested macros.
You can decide between old and new by looking at the layout tab and seeing the picture. However this doesn't change anything, as the old and the new work identically.
