ignore the url field. It would be used for linking to a file that was already uploaded somewhere else. |

As several have explained above, you need not enter a URL in the second box. Fill in the top two blocks, and then just BROWSE over to the file (on your computer) you wish to upload in the first box, and then don't forget to click on "ADD FILE" at the bottom of that page. _________________ Beginners - Read this thread first

You can upload a file from your PC or you can reference a URL to a file that already exists on the internet.
Remember, a URL is a link to something on the 'net. For all intents and purposes, you can ignore that field here. Your files are on your PC thus they need to be uploaded. _________________ Mark |

Interesting. I tried twice with no luck, but made a final attempt today after having learned that I could forget about the last field on the upload form. And voila! the file seems to be there: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=5335
What a wonderful world! |
