Olevia 537h LCD TV

Newbie needed some help

1. Device:Olevia 537h
2. Type of device:LCD
3. Year:2007
4. JP1/UEI Remote model:comcast dvr 1067bx3 jp1.3
5. Do you have a JP1 cable?yes purchased jp1.x
6. Still have original remote?yes
7. Checked the file section?yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)?
9. Partially working setup code?no
10. Learning remote question?

have ir working and reconized the comcast remote. trying to get up to speed on this and basically want to use my comcast remote to turn on/off tv and control volume.

there is one built already for that exact tv. Even has discrete inputs if you have a new enough firmware.

Maybe I'm being dense but what do I use to read the rmdu file. I know I can use notepad to see the contents but should ir use it as well?

Sorry if these are stupid questions I'm trying to get up to speed.

ditto on the thanks. with all the work already by every one else i was able to get my olevia 242v working with discrete input codes for my urc-9910.

Ditto for me (it works). I used the above procedure and Olevia files already created to get a Comcast remote working with Olevia LCD TV.

TV: Olevia 232 LCD TV
Remote: URC-1067Bx3 JP1.3

Works Great!
