Slingbox virtual remote - enough buttons?

I'm unable to obtain full function for the virtual remote due to the fact the the sling remote has only 36 programmable buttons.

o Has anyone been able to figure out how to enable Shift capability or access the FP buttons which appear in the RM Layout tab for the Sling remote?
o Although I've been all over this forum, there doesn't seem to be a specific reason why buttons are shaded and inoperable in the virtual remote even though they've been assigned in RM.

I'm trying to configure Sling for a Pioneer DVR-510. I'm using an existing config provided in the file section but much of the functionality is missing and I'm trying to complete this config.

The fp buttons can be seen in the menu of the remote, as menu items instead of buttons.
