Bell Express-Vu 9200 aka Dish 622 PVR/RCVR

Post by idletime »

I have tried various KM files for the Dish 622 in a vain attempt to get my URC-6690 remote operational with my Bell 9200 PVR/RCVR. I have tried to learn buttons from the original remote to my URC-6690 only to find that IR rejects them as it apparently is seeing 3 bursts no matter which key I am trying, and doesn't know how to understand them. I have found that the Dish Combo code of 1946 appears to operate some of the features on my 9200. However I can not find 1946 code breakdown of EFC and key information in Devices4 spreadsheet and hence cannot load this information into KM to play with. Is there anyway I can extract this information out of IR back into KM to take a look at?? Or is there a better way of doing this??

When you learn the signals, do the learned buttons work? If so, all the info that we need is probably in there, in which case please post a copy of your IR file (which contains the learns) in the Diagnosis Area and then post a link to it here.

The only thing IR gives me is the following error message;

The learned command contains more than 3 burst lists. The first list contains bursts that fire when the key is pressed, the second contains the bursts that fire repeatedly while the key is held down, and the third contains bursts that fire when the key is released. It is unclear what any additional burst lists are used for.

This is when I try to upload the remote into IR after learning a few keys. I see no learned commands under the "Learned" tab, and I do not see the incrementation of the learned command bar graph at the bottom of the page. :x

OK, I really should read every word in a sentence, either that or my coffee is fogging my glasses. Yes learned functions appear to work even though they do not appear visually in IR. I suppose the only thing I can see that might have changed is the RAW data. I am setting AUX to VCR/PVR mode and learning my commands under it. I will try and post into the diagnosis area.
