Indeed! Good luck, lad.
Well, since I've got a few of the Atlases (a 1054 and a 1055) I've really gotten attached to their layout, feel, form factor, etc. The OCAP remote seems to me to be the best of the lot, with the extra "D" button and separate "Menu" and "Settings" buttons, so I really wanted one and expect that it will become my primary remote in the house once I've sorted out programming.
But the problem still lies with its "newness".
Will have to build/develop the rdf from scratch - never done that before - and I suppose if I want an extender (which I most definitely do), I may have to learn more than I ever really intended to.
Having an extra will hopefully provide me with some leverage to negotiate with (i.e. "extort") someone smarter than me to build an extender.
Que sera, sera.
Maybe then I can get rid of my 15-1994s, 15-2117s, URC-6131s, URC-8910s, URC-9960, and HTPro remotes! I hear I can get BIG BUCKS for the 1994s
I feel good about my purchase when I look at
sagestar and mogden battling it out for a SINGLE Atlas OCAP remote.
