Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words...

So, as you can see, you absolutely can specify a 2-byte keymove.

If you were to program it on the remote, when you download from the remote you would be able to see it in IR and save it in a file, so it would not get overlaid with your next upload.

The only reason why I'm suggesting programming it on the remote is because, in your case, it might be easier than trying to do it via IR, because apart from anything else, you don't need to know what the EFC/hex code values are.

Hm. I was going to show you my own picture -- how it rejects values out of the range $00 - $FF -- AND to show how I don't have the "Key" radio button next to the EFC/Hex Cmd input box. I figured I had a different software release (which I apparently do) and that was why it wouldn't work for me. But no -- I just had to enter "82 22" instead of "8222" and then it's happy. *sigh* And it also calculated the weird 5-digit EFC properly.

True. Also true if I just learn the buttons, and in that case I don't have to fool with the Lutron upgrade in the remote at all. Any one of those should work.

Thanks Rob! I think I should be able to get this worked out now. :)

Hopefully using the upgrade you will get buttons that repeat properly, which you say your learned signals didn't.

Great minds think alike! I was just thinking that as I turned on my computer this morning. :) And sure enough, it works like a charm. Thanks Rob!
