Have you tried ANY of the 20 or so Panasonic DVD upgrades in the file section? Most brands use the same or extremely similar code sets for all devices of the same type. I'd be really surprised if none of those Panasonic DVD upgrades works.

I bet if you take a closer look at each of the Panasonic DVD upgrades, you'll find that they're all pretty much the same. Panasonic is one of those OEM's that doesn't change their codes too much from one model to another. You will probably also find that his DVD player responds to DVD/0490 which is built into almost all remotes.

You could just program the built in DVD/0490 to the DVD button and leave it at that.
