I just tried the following in KM Master v8.05

Make sure you set Button Codes: OBC

I entered 30 in OBC under function tab and the EFC and hex were calculated as shown:

Code:

Setup TAB:

Remote:    URC-881x / 801x / 601x
Device Type:    SAT
Setup Code:    1601
Button Codes:    OBC

Protocol Name:    RECS80 (45)
Device Code:    5

Function Tab:

Functions   OBC   byte2   EFC   ov   Hex
power       030          238       84

jon_armstrong,

Thanks, I've done all of keys and wrote to 8017. It all works now. I try to upload this setting file in KM format to here. But I can't find file attach function.

It's weird that KM re-calculate OBC to EFC/HEX after I reboot my PC. That's much easier to enter whole set of keys.

I'm going to open new topic for Closed Cation decoder after I send Prosat satellite all model remote control code. C U another topic.

There is no ATTACH function. You should load your upgrade file into the file section at Yahoo:

I don't know if it's a language barrier or what, but I don't understand this statement. KM should calculate on the fly as you enter data. If you see the word "Calculate" in the status bar for more than a few seconds, then somehow Excel's auto-recalc got turned to manual. That can be reset to automatic by going to Tools|Options|Calulation, and selecting Automatic.

If you're try to say something else, I apologize for not understanding what you're saying.

It doesn't matter, Mark. When I'd tried to enter OBC, I copy/paste to IR, and it was same HEX codes. After I rebooted my PC in hours later, it became function well. Hmmm I must miss something. Anyway, it works.
