Are you positive that you're using DVD/1490 because it seems unlikely as (1) that code isn't in the URC-8910, unless you had it loaded over the phone, and (2) that code is for Panasonic TV/DVD combos.
If it really is the code that you're using, try using TV/0250 instead. The POWER and ARROW buttons are the same in this code as they are in the DVD/1490 code.

Uhh... what's a 2910? Is it a typo for 8910 or 1920 or something else?
Anyways, 0634 is a Denon:8 device, so that it works at least partially makes SOME sense.
There are half a dozen Denon DVD upgrades in the file section. Do none of them do NOTHING for you?

So, just to be clear here, you actually have the DVD-1920 yourself, not the DVD-2910, correct?pinkrdp wrote:Sorry, 2910 = Denon DVD-2910 model.

Again, it is most useful if you provide some more detailed info. Which upgrades did what for you? If some of them work partially, what parts work and what does not. This info can help point you in a direction to do a manual EFC trial and error search for missing codes.

Can't get my 15-2104 to work with the DVD-1920
1. Device: Denon DVD-1920
2. Type of device: DVD
3. Year: 2006
4. UEI Remote model: 15-2104
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? Yes

7. Checked the file section? Yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? No
9. Partially working setup code? No - 0634 and other Denon codes don't do much of anything for me
10. Learning remote question? No
No memory to learn from original remote. This player is a clone of the Funai Sylvania DV1000L, at least as far as the DVD-V portion but as expected I haven't found Funai codes/files that work either.

Re: Can't get my 15-2104 to work with the DVD-1920
But since you have a cable, and the 15-2104 is a learning remote, why can't you save your existing setup to a file with IR.exe, clear the remote, learn the signals, build an upgrade from the decoded learns, and then reload your setup from the file you saved ?Chris Gerhard wrote: 4. And it looks like the OP never bothered to post his upgrade file, so please post yours when it's complete.
Thanks,
Rob

I will have to get up to speed on how to do that. All I know to do is download files from here and upload them to my remote and save that file on my computer. I don't know how to turn learned codes into anything I can upload here, but I am sure that information is here so I will find it next chance I get.

Specifically these documents are step by step guides:
Using Remote Master (RM)
or
Using Keymap Master (KM)
RM and KM are different tools for building device upgrades -
RM has a good GUI and many prefer it for this reason - it needs Java.
KM is an Excel spreadsheet, but customised by experts so that it behaves as though it were an application. You need Excel to use it.
Which of the 2 tools - RM or KM you choose is a matter of personal preference. They both work equally well, some newcomers prefer RM because of it's user friendly GUI - KM can still do some advanced things that RM cannot - but not anything which would concern you in this case
If you read the linked "HowTo"s and, in trying to follow them through, you get "stuck" with a specific step described in the guide, then post back here and someone will help you.
