TV mode macro not working (URC-6131 - Extender 1)

OMG, some actual progress. I tried what you said (or at least how I interpreted it. Here's what I did

1.On General tab set PVR device to TV 2011
2. On General tab set O device to TV
3. Uploaded code to remote and activated it
4. Pressed PVR button. All TV buttons from uploaded TV device work as expected.
5. Tivo buttons no longer do anything.

FYI, I am working on a stripped down IR file that only has the 6131 stuff, my Viewsonic device and one Tivo device loaded.

I am encouraged that I am seeing progress. What should I try next since I really don't want the PVR button to be the TV device. Thanks

I don't think step 2 is needed as the O_ keyset is set in the PVR macro.
Those entries are the the default keyset_device_index to use on startup.

I think the next step is to try to verify that the Macro on the TV button is working. Can you change the Macro on the TV button to match the PVR macro?

Well, after all this time I finally figured it out. We all had a clue about 10 entries back:

I did notice that I get the red light to blink once when I press any of the device buttons, with the exception of the TV button. Is this a clue?

When I tried the suggestion:

I noticed nothing happened. I wondered to myself why all the other buttons glowed red when depressed, but the TV button didn't. I then tried pressing the TV button with more force. Voila It worked.

I can't believe that it was such a simple thing. I apologize to everyone for wasting their time. I know none of you can see the remote in my hand when I press the buttons. At least I mentioned it, though. Thanks again.

BTW, stay tuned because now that I have this working, I need to switch my PJ device in my HT remote from an Infocus 4800 to a Panasonic AE900U. Hopefully, I can that working with less grief
