6011 Remote question

I received my URC 6011 remote today and I though I would be able to use it with the JP cable using the 6 pin connector. Will I need to modify it before use? I looked thru the site for an answer and could not find one.

About 4 posts above this one is a sticky thread entitled Need to modify a URC-6131, URC-6011, etc for JP1? Read this which should hopefully provide all the info you need to modify the 6011 for JP1 use.

Just like the 6131 and 8011, the 6011 is shipped in a non-JP1 ready state. I usually sell modified versions of these remotes. I'm out of 6011s but I still have modified 6131s and 8011s.

Rob is that file located anywhere here? I have tried several times to access it at Yahoo and can not. I am registered but can not access it.

The file also exists in the new file section, I just updated the thread to point to it.
