15-2133 ext 1 extender hangs

I'm having the following problem with the 15-2133 2k extender 1.... I'm hoping someone has seen a similar problem and can point me in the right direction.

After programming the remote and pressing the Power key (or even TV then Power key) to activate, the remote locks up and stays lit while in the Sat/Cable mode.

To eliminate the possibility of a macro being the source of the error, I tried this with a completely blank 2k ext 1 (no devices or macros of my own added) AND immediately after a 981 device reset.

I also tried programming the remote after removing the 1800/TV Device, after which the lock up DOESN'T occur, so this leads me to believe there is something wrong with the ToadTog device/protocol? Perhaps a newer version somewhere?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I know nothing about your remote, but 1800/TV Device or more likely tv/1800 device should be the extender itself. When, on the devices sheet, with tv/1800 selected you look at protocol number, does it say 180 or 181?

Sat/Cable mode? even if press Tv+Power to activate?

Could you try it all after a real reset http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4057
and don't remove tv/1800 device.

Could you press CBL+Power to activate? Being the first device, this might be it. Do you see 2 blinks when you try to activate the extender?

If still trouble, this will need EXPERTS.
