9. Partially working setup code? not sure what you're asking
10. Learning remote question? OK I just found about jp1 and it's possibilities, I studying and trying to learn. I don't have a cable yet but I do have the 8910. My problem is that I lost my remote for the H/K while I have universal remotes that does most of the basic stuff I can't do stuff with the osd which is used to fine tune the setup of the receiver. Now I have an old Home Theater master 9000 that has a code that will give the key that turns on the osd but I can't control up down left right and select in this mode. Also I cant cycle the dts surround mode. I found a link that gives me some of the advance codes but I don't see key codes for the cursor or select. Hopefully you guys and guide me. Thanks.

I checked the file section and found an exact match for your device: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... ile_id=415
As you don't have a JP1 cable yet, you could use the JP1 tools to create a WAV file which you can play through your PC speakers into the URC-8910's modem.
Unfortunately, most of the step-by-steps don't describe how to do this.
