Rob,

Isn't it time to update this note?

JP1.2 remotes are NOT compatible with the current JP1 software and JP1 cables. New JP1.2 cables will be available soon and we hope to have the JP1 software updated for these remotes soon also.

Hi Yesok,
I haven't forgotten about you, but this past weekend was a holiday weekend here in the States, so I haven't had a chance to box up the remotes, weigh them and figure out the postage yet.

I have 2 flavors of JP1 cable, parallel ($15) and USB ($35). The only serial cables that I have are JP1.2 ($20) which won't work on the URC-9910.

Shipping for the URC-9910 is $4 if I re-package the remote, or $8 in it's original box.

Robman,

Do you currently have a 9910 in stock? I need one soon and am considering buying one from you if you have them on hand ready to ship.

Also...just wondering your opinion. How important is it to get the B01 (separate navigation buttons) revision? I just noticed that Amazon has the 9910 remote for 31 shipped, but the picture shows a B00 revision. I know its a matter of personal opinion, but is it worth the extra 13 dollars for the B01?

I just got done setting up a Harmony 890 for my sister. That is one sweet remote. Unfortunately I can't afford the 890 now :(

However...thanks to you and everyone here I can get a great PC programmable, very customizable, RF remote at an affordable price! Thanks for everyones hard work!

Many people found the "arrow ring" version very annoying - it just doesn't feel quite as "firm" as the individual arrows.
Having said that, is the difference so significant as to warrant paying $13.00 extra? That's clearly a matter of personal preference.

Another consideration is that Amazon may just be using an old file photo, as do many eBay vendors when selling the 8910 or 9910. They use any old photo, but likely have the newer - B01 - version.

Thanks guys, I'll get remotes in the mail to both of you tomorrow morning. I use USPS Prority Mail for domestic and Global Priority Mail for international.
