Which Protocol for Yamaha rx-v1000

Post by EZ Ed »

I have an old 6131 2k and am using the extender. I have a problem with all extended codes which have a device number 124 or 126, device 122 codes are fine. I using protocol Nec1 id 00 5A. I tried the NEC Combo protocol but then nothing worked. Which protocol should I use?

You need to use the "Device Combiner" as we don't have a combo protocol that lets you mix the main NEC device codes.

IIUC, you need three main devices (122, 124 126). You might try the NEC 4DEV combo that has just been added to KM v9.04. It allows you to mix 4 NEC device codes.

If you want us to check your work at any point, you should upload your KM file for us to look at.

Thanks Rob it's finally working for other devices the addition of values to the function tab did the trick. I appreciate all the work you and the other developers do.
