Hi
Wondering if anyone of you know where I can find the discrete codes
for the HLS series of Samsung DLP TV. I hear Harmony has the codes
but I don't own that remote

Try using the template in the Number 1 Code Search FAQ (lined below in my sig). That will reduce the need to ask you a bunch of questions and waste a lot of time.

There's about a dozen Samsung TV upgrades in the file section, several of which have discrete codes:

function/OBC/EFC
Discrete ON/153/001
Discrete OFF/152/253

I got this on another forum (AVS). How do I convert this to OBC/EFC ?

Not very much conversion required. It says right there what it is. The "Function" number is the OBC.

In a JP1 uprade that would NECx2 protocol, device 7, subdevice 7, OBC 233.
