Is this PVR a Tivo? If so and if it uses the same codes as the Tivo/DVD combo unit, you should be able to use DVD/0503 to work the main functions, and then you could use advanced codes to fill in the blanks.
Here's the JP1 upgrade from the file section...

Is the model number for your Cinema 6 URC-6800? If so, this is the JP1 compatible version of the Cinema 6, so you could consider using JP1 to program it.

I was hoping you'd jump in Edmund, do you happen to know what code this device uses?

In the 15-2142 that's a Tivo code, but in all other remotes it's a variation on the regular Toshiba DVD code, which uses the NEC1 protocol with a main device code of 69 and a sub-device code of 188.
Needless to say, this code is much too recent to be present in the old Cinema 6, which was made around 1999.

Thanks...no joy on 0503, and 1988 doesn't even exist in my remote. I am checking out the JP1 option. The Robman wrote:Is this PVR a Tivo?
