Try this upgrade instead...

Upgrade Code 0 = 34 4D (CD/1101) Draper (KM v8.42)
0D 00 00 33 80 BD DD AD
End

This is one of those cases where KM and DecodeIR are not in sync. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware of this so I've never changed KM to match up with DecodeIR.

John Fine maintains a web site that explains DecodeIR's decodes, and if you read the portion dealing with the Akai protocol you'll see that it tells you to use EFCs in KM rather than OBCs...

I just modified KM (v8.43) so that the Akai protocol matched DecodeIR.

If you must stay with km for this. Based on what you say the learned code shows up as, try efc 167, 164, and 039.

I tried both the OBCs and EFCs -- neither worked.

Edit: Somehow missed the above note before my post - the upgrade you listed works great, but I can't find the KM to make my upgrade file...?

Thanks, Rob!

Edit 2: Found it. Wasn't in the file section where I had been downloading from.

Thanks again!

Got it all working well, as usual, thanks to you.

Uploaded the KM file:

Thanks again,
